Does the reporting window contain successfully refreshed data from every source needed for this decision?

Start with the source and period

Read connection status, last completed refresh and the report’s own date range together. A connected account is not proof of a completed import, and a configured schedule is not proof that a scheduled run succeeded. Check the accounting report’s period and basis even when its download timestamp is recent.

A worked synthetic example

Synthetic example: at 09:00 on September 30, a dashboard displays revenue through September 29. Its last successful publication is September 28 at 08:00. A 06:00 scheduled run on September 30 failed. The existence of that schedule does not close the two-day gap. Preserve the prior figures as historical context while checking the failure; do not describe them as today’s completed totals.

Review steps

1. List the sources needed for the question and their last successful completion times. Note a source that has never completed.
2. Check whether the selected reporting dates extend beyond the imported coverage.
3. Review the connection or provider error using the available status view; keep credentials out of shared screenshots.
4. Assign reconnection or mapping work to an authorized person. Confirm successful completion and compare selected source records before resuming the financial interpretation.

Limits to keep visible

Freshness thresholds and refresh schedules differ by provider and configuration. Revenue Rounds can retain last published figures with a stale warning. That warning does not diagnose every possible source problem. Provider outages, permissions and scheduler backoff can delay completion. No fixed SLA or recovery time is promised here.

Record the exact coverage that is safe to discuss and the decision being deferred. On the next review, check that new source records appear; removing a warning alone is not a substitute for validating the data.
